One must imagine Sisyphus happy.-- Albert Camus
THE Cybernexus of vast knowledge, infinite wisdom, and occasionally an accidental smidgin of common sense: causerie gestalt of personal experiences; non scientific implications of current scientific frontiers in chaos theory and theoretical physics; observations on the evolution of organizational structure; and stuff like that. Also social commentary on a wide range of issues including terrorism, 9/11, language, war, living in the bible belt again, strange attractors, societal bifurcation etc., all delivered with wit, more than a touch of facetiousness, good humor and insight straight to your monitor at absolutely no charge.

This link leads to the table of contents page for the section I call Precipitous Patterns wherein I look at some of the ways we Homo sapiens respond to our world and how we came to think that was the right way to do it. Along the way I humbly suggest some propaedeutic tidbits on the karma of chaos; the dharma of organizational structure; the triumphant rise and sad demise of words; the fecundity of religion; scientific slipperiness; the Dixie Chicks dilemma, and the elusive theoryofdamnneareverything. And to paraphrase my good friend Sofia "if it helps you, us be happy,
if it don't, us be content."
This started out as a journal of sorts to chronicle my move from my Colorado Mountain home to the Myrtle Beach seashore. It didn't take long for my make believe magnum opus to wander off into the hither and yon about which I inevitably voice an opinion. Falling back on my Hippie Zen obtuseology, my purpose is not to persuade, just to be. If you find anything in my writing useful or entertaining, I think that would be far out, but mostly I am just having fun. Now, off to the table of contents with you...

Here in early 2008 attention to the cockpit doors on the three planes the terrorists used as weapons of mass destruction has long since disappeared under the murky waters of the missed opportunities swamp. Even though including it in my webpage reorganization is essentially pointless in today's world, I include it because it is still right on- take it or leave it. And as an extra special bonus I present an impeccable account of the evolution of war, and a really groovy section about Caral, Peru and how it might just be the fabled mother city and a precursor to the sixties.
Priceless collection of my earliest published work, way back around 1988 when I was still smart. These articles were published in the prestigious literae scriptae MensaMuse, official publication of the Boulder Front Range Mensa organization boasting damn near 100 subscribers.
Through the Cockpit Doors
Politics: Last—and Least.
Mostly outdated commentary on this, surely the most inane triviality in American culture, wherein political activities basically serve as a euphemism for real life.
Dixie Chicks and Patriotism
From the Montezuma halls and the Tripoli shores to Shepherd's Bush by way of the Declaration of Independence, chaos theory, god terms, patriotism and a special guest speaker.
