Precipitous Patterns Table of Contents
Prologue.
My initial idea was for this section to be a continuation of the Chaotic Cockpit section, but it seems to have slipped the surly bounds of editorial intent and accroached its own bailiwick.  In order to preserve some semblance of editorial control, I have declined to rewrite references to chapters and sections  etc.. So there.

But First...
Part Two: Precipitous Patterns Introduction
Understanding the genesis of organization and how we go about recognizing structures.  And why we tend to think of structures as finished products.  How the elements that are essential for organizational development eventually contribute to its stasis, and sometimes evanesce. Some connotations of organizational structure in government, national security, industry, and catastrophic geological events.
Chapter Five: Words
Sapiential treatise on the origin of language and how it created the greatest source of unused  resources in the world. The role of the normal distribution in the development of language and meaning.  Application of chaos theory concepts to the evolution of language and the hidden dangers in godterms.  The first fully documented development of a new language by the deaf children of Nicaragua.  And how our evolutionary choice of words as our primary interlocution may have limited our ability to communicate.
Chapter Six: Religion
Intuitive mentation on the developmental aspects of both religion and science not from the perspectives of truth and provability but from the existential awareness available to all of us (except politicians and lawyers).  Using gizmos from our handy dandy chaos theory for dummies toolkit, we  are each invited to determine how much of the farm we are willing to bet that either science or religion can really guide our destiny.
Chapter Seven: Haints
How the secret life of bananas holds the key to understanding metaphysics and the real world. The role of awareness in the evolution of our species.  Illustration of the development of chaos in  a steady state system.  The real meaning of no strings attached in the 11th. dimension.  Steven Wolfram, cellular automata and the impact of iterations on the process of evolutionary development.  Just how dumb is intelligent design ?
[ Ed. Note. WTF! Talk about your bait and switch - cheez.]
Chapter Eight: Theory of Everything
The Big Bang as existential pretender.   The myth of incremental development in the evolution of knowledge.  The miracle of natural navigation on the deep ocean and why conditions that foster pioneering thought no longer exist.  A synopsis of my mostly unique and light hearted view of our assigned place in existence and why kitchen sinks are barred from most conglomerations of elements.
Chapter Ten:   The Horripilant Support Our Troops Dilemma
This is one of the most divisive, dangerous issues facing we Americans today. The most difficult part is to acknowledge that there is a dilemma at all.  The issue tends to trigger a fight or flee response; a black or white position incapable of seeing a middle ground - totemistic god terms dominate the language-

(Or, if you insist, Chaos Theory By and For Dummies)
Chapter 11    Dichotomy or Bifurcation   Part One
These are my thoughts on the organization, growth  and (ahem) destiny of our system of government. Basically it is my take on the well worn (out) system of checks and balances.  And how checks and balances eventually come to do neither.
